iPhone Nails of the Day!

Happy Sunday everyone! What a beautiful weekend it has been :) I recently found a few nail shots on my iPhone and figured I might as well post them!

Here's a quick shot of Deborah Lippmann's famous Glitter in the Air (2 coats) over top of Essie Lapis of Luxury (1 coat).

This is a really fun mani.. kind of the palate cleanser of glitters!

Organized Chaos Mani... ?

Yes, there is a method to the madness! A pretty fun manicure "style" that has been going around has many names.. organized chaos is only one of them! I've got my first one here, inspired by Fleur De Force's "Pic N' Mix" mani. And *surprise surprise* the shades are inspired by my recent trip to Nova Scotia! We spent lovely afternoons walking around downtown and the boardwalk. I loved being right next to the water!

Hello again!

Wow.. long time no blog :) I've been on somewhat of a hiatus I guess... new job, vacation, spring cleaning etc. But I'm ready to start up again!

MacDonald Bridge, Halifax

The new job has been a huge transition for me. It's much quieter and I am there full-time (helloooo groceries!), and while I do miss my old co-workers it's a good change for me to have at this time in my life.

Vacation was absolutely wonderful! I went over to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with Ross to hang out and see loads of family members. What a trip :) I ate lots of good food, saw many awesome people, and most importantly - I had time to relax!

I think since I photographed these I have a couple more (I really don't buy them too often anymore, unless it's a shade that blows me away!). I adore gold and silver glitters! They are some of my favourite layering shades. This category also contains some of my favourite "palate cleansers," such as Zoya Jules or OPI Glitzerland. But a lot of the others I don't wear too often. They are great shades to have though, because they go with everything! Do you love these kinds of colours? :D
